On December 3, 2019 officers responded to several incidents in the Bessemer neighborhood (1400 blk of Spruce St., 1300 blk of Lake Ave.) involving a man with a weapon assaulting citizens of our community. Officers also discovered a deceased male with apparent injuries consistent with an assault in the 1400 blk of Spruce St. during this time span.
