With today’s snowstorm and inclement weather, some citizens had questions about if the city was open or was going to close early. City of Pueblo offices remained open today as Mayor Nick Gradisar issued this memo to employees. ‘
Please take precautionary measures and use good judgement when operating a vehicle in any type of inclement weather. Safety for all is most important. If an emergency arises where the City would be unable to operate normally, a press release and/or emergency notification would go out to the public by use of the media (KRDO, KOAA, KKTV, FOX21 and Facebook) and all users of city email.
Even when the weather is bad, as public servants, it is our duty to be open and available for citizens and patrons to have access to the city services we provide. The City of Pueblo will remain open during normal business hours Monday through Friday and all employees are expected to report for duty at their scheduled times, unless a determination has been made and announced that there will be a delay or cancellation of services for that day.
