The City of Pueblo has contracted with American Civil Constructors Inc. to construct a highway interchange at Dillon Drive and Interstate 25. We expect construction to begin within the next several weeks depending on weather and the contractor’s schedule. The project is expected to be complete in about eighteen months.

An extended duration closure of Dillon Drive just east of the intersection of N. Elizabeth Street and a local access only closure of the Frontage Road at the intersection of Frontage Road and Drew Dix Parkway; however, no business entrances will be closed during construction. Additionally, night time (10 pm – 5 am) Interstate 25 closures will be necessary and traffic will be rerouted off Interstate 25 at Eagleridge Blvd (exit 102) and Eden (exit 104) using N. Elizabeth Street and the partially re-constructed Dillon Drive as the traffic conduit.

The project is funded by Federal, State and Local Government sources and will not require any financial participation by the adjacent property owner(s). The City of Pueblo has requested that the contractor coordinate his activities with the affected businesses. Be assured that every reasonable effort will be made by the contractor to minimize any inconvenience.
