Join the community & help fight ALS during the 5th Colorado Springs Walk to Defeat ALS on Saturday, May 6th at America the Beautiful Park! Walk check-in will begin at 10:00am, Welcome/Unlock Ceremony at 10:45am, and Walk start at 11:00am. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, currently there is no cure. The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter strives to fight ALS and empower people living with ALS today. Your support and donations help the ALS Association provide services that include an equipment loan closet, care services information, support groups, and more! The Colorado Springs Walk to Defeat ALS is an outlet for families, friends, communities, companies, and YOU to demonstrate your concern for the urgent need to find the cure for ALS.
