PUEBLO – The Pueblo City Council will hold its Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. A Work Session will be held at 5:30 p.m.
Pueblo City Council meetings are located at 1 City Hall Place, Pueblo City Hall, third floor, City Council Chambers. They are open to the public and social distancing requirements are no longer in effect, the City Council Chambers will no longer require capacity restrictions due to COVID-19. Masks are not required inside City Council Chambers. The Council meeting will also be conducted through the Zoom video conferencing platform, allowing remote access.

How to make a public comment or testify at a Public Hearing:
Public forum. The City Council shall permit a public forum to occur prior to the commencement of any business at regular City Council meetings occurring on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, to include any regular meeting where City Council has elected to change the meeting date. The public forum shall permit up to six people to speak, for five minutes per speaker, when there are people present who wish to address the City Council. The public forum shall occur during the televised portion of the meeting, and speakers shall be permitted to address the City Council on camera.
In Person: A signup sheet is available from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. in Council Chambers for public comment. The first six people signed up will be allowed to make a public comment to the City Council. To testify at a Public Hearing, wait until the City Council President asks if there is anyone who would like to speak for or against the specific item you would like to comment on, then raise your hand and wait to be asked to come forward.
Phone or Online: You can make a public comment through Zoom. To participate in the public forum or speak for or against an Ordinance in its final reading via Zoom, you must call 719-225-3500 to sign up. The signup will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m. A staff member will facilitate the participation in the Council meeting.
The instructions for the Zoom video conferencing can be found at www.pueblo.us/86, at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. You will not be able to sign up before that time, and you will not be able to participate in the meeting by telephone or Zoom after 6:30 p.m. if you have not signed up.

Security Measures for Attendees:
Effective immediately, attendees of City Council Meetings will be allowed entry through the doors on the Riverwalk side of the building starting at 5:00 p.m. Everyone wishing to enter the building will be subject to a metal detector and bag check before they enter.
