Pueblo Ice Skating Academy (PISA) The Learn to Skate USA lessons are group lessons designed by US Figure Skating and endorsed by US Speed Skating and USA Hockey. The progressive curriculum offers support and guidance for those taking their first steps on the ice and those who are working to master more advanced techniques. For skaters 4 years old and up, including adults. Lessons are eight weeks and each session lasts thirty minutes. Lesson time will be determined at the time of registration. Students must be registered by the Monday before the lessons start. We recommend skaters 6 and under wear helmets. Lessons are for students four years to adults. We offer Tots- Basic 6.

The City of Pueblo is excited to inform you about the Learn to Compete Class. The Learn to Compete Class teaches skaters how to compete with Basic Skills 1 through Free Skate 6 levels. Skaters will be coached by Pueblo Ice Skating Academy Coaches and will have the opportunity to perfect specific movement needed to perform in a fun, recreational, and competitive environment. This class will prepare skaters to go out and preform in competitions all around the state. Classes are ten weeks the fee is $100. Dates depend on state wide competitions.

To register online for classes click here Register Now . You will need to make an account with CIVICREC for Pueblo Parks and Recreation. Once account is made you can sign up online or at the arena. Families with multiple skaters or classes will need to sign up at arena for correct discount. A single skater returning can enter returning skater in coupon area for discount at check out. Tots 1 and Tots 2 & 3 is for 4 and 5 year old, Basic 1 is for first time skaters 6 years and up. All other classes are by skill level you must test and pass Basic 1 to go to Basic 2 and so on. If unsure of previous level skating director will move you to appropriate class.
