Creating ownership and genuine participation in city government by neighborhoods and residents through the allocation of city resources determined by community participants to inspire the improvement of quality of life.

The City of Pueblo 2024 budget was approved and adopted on November 27, 2023. There will be $1 million of the City budget designated for the public to decide how to spend these dollars to improve the quality of life of Pueblo residents and their neighbors. We want to hear your great idea—a bench, an amenity, something creative you’ve always wanted to implement in Pueblo. It’s your idea and your neighborhood!

Paper applications are available in person in the City of Pueblo Mayor’s Office located at One City Hall Place, Pueblo, CO 81003. The Mayor’s Office is located on the second floor of City Hall, which is connected to Memorial Hall. Public parking is available in the parking lot shared with businesses on the Riverwalk.

We highly encourage you to reach out to us at youridea@pueblo.us. We can connect you with the appropriate City department to assist you with your project feasibility and cost estimates. Applications with missing information may be dismissed.

Review Committee Application opens November 1-30

  • Committee members include two individuals form every district and one “at large” individual.
  • Must be available for review of applications beginning of February through the first two weeks of March

Your Idea Your Neighborhood Application open December 1 and closes January 31

  • Application review period February 1-March 15
  • Notification to project awardees end of March
  • Project to be completed April 2024-December 2025
