Streetscape Project at City Center Drive and Santa Fe Avenue

The City of Pueblo’s City Center Drive and Santa Fe Avenue streetscape project will focus on aesthetic improvements to the east side of Santa Fe Avenue by enhancing and improving the streetscape of the main intersection in Downtown Pueblo. Studies have found that aesthetic improvements are the single most important way to increase pedestrian use (an average of a 70% increase).

The intersection of City Center Drive and Santa Fe Avenue provides access into Pueblo’s downtown business district, which includes the Sangre de Cristo Art Center, Pueblo Convention Center, Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project (HARP), Union Avenue Historic District and El Pueblo History Museum.
