Position: Events and Parades

Location:

Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo area

General Description:

The Police Department hosts, as well as attends, several events throughout the year. Some of these events include the Colorado State Fair Parade, Safety Night, the Ice Cup, Safety Jam, the Police Academy Graduation, and the Safety of Seniors Event. These events are put on with the help of volunteers serving in many different ways.

Responsibilities:

You will assist in these events in the following capacities- hand out public safety information, sell VAPP and Department items, direct traffic and attenders, organize prior to the event, help set-up and tear-down, etc. 

Time Requirement:

You are required to serve 25+ hours a year, covering shifts of different events throughout the year.

Training:

Training will be given at the time of the event.

Qualifications:

You will need to be able to meet the time requirements. You will also be expected to communicate with the coordinator in a timely manner about involvement and shift coverage.
