Promoting Safety & Proper Extinguisher Use
The Pueblo Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau offers a variety of classes on the proper use of fire extinguishers. The class is made up of 3 components:
- A 12-minute film on fire behavior
- A 12-minute film on the proper use of ABC fire extinguishers
- A 30-minute hands-on extinguisher familiarization
Note: If you are interested in holding a fire extinguisher class for your place of business, you will need to provide:
- A TV and DVD player to show the videos
- One fire extinguisher of each type used in the occupancy.
The Fire Department will provide an instructor and the videos.
How to Schedule Class
Classes can be conducted Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Special arrangements can be made for evening hours or weekends. There is no fee charged at this time. To schedule your next class please contact the following:
