Members
The Pueblo Area Council of Governments is comprised of 16 voting members who are officials from local units of government. Members do not serve terms with regards to this council, they remain as long as they are officials of their unit of government. The Council receives 7 members from the City Council, 3 members from the County Commissioners, 1 from the Board of Water Works, 1 from the District 60 School Board, 1 from the District 70 School Board, 1 from the Colorado City Metropolitan District and 1 from the Pueblo West Metropolitan District, 1 from the Salt Creek Sanitation District, and 1 from the Town of Boone.

About the Council
The Pueblo Area Council of Governments meets to provide intergovernmental cooperation and coordination in order to consolidate and strengthen existing local efforts at land use, transportation, physical and environmental planning, industrial and economic development planning and social or human resource planning.
