The City of Pueblo Department of Law (also known as the City Attorney's Office):

• Institutes and defends civil litigation on behalf of the City
• Prosecutes Municipal Court violations and appeals
• Provides legal services to the City Council, City manager, and all City departments

The office consists of four full-time attorneys, three part-time attorneys - two of which serve as Municipal Court prosecutors - and two non-attorney staff.

Our Mission
The mission of the Law Department is to provide quality legal services to the City in accordance with City Charter requirements. This mission is accomplished by providing prompt, courteous, and professional services.
