Responsibilities & Services

It is the Pueblo Fire Department's responsibility to protect the life and property of City residents and visitors. The department's critical public safety mission is carried out 24 hours a day with professional and specially trained personnel who perform fire, rescue, emergency medical, hazardous material, fire prevention, and public education services. As a team, they have a strong reputation for delivering a high quality of service in these areas.

To maintain International Accreditation status as a Fire Department and provide safe and effective leadership, training, equipment, and facilities for our members to ensure the highest level of Fire and Rescue services to the City of Pueblo and our community.
Mission Statement
We will provide the highest level of Fire and Rescue services to City of Pueblo and our community following laws, safety practices, and professional standards.
