The Arkansas Valley Crisis Support Team (AVCST), formerly the Pueblo Area Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team, is a group of volunteers from the Pueblo area that donate their time to police, fire, EMS, and other related groups in Southeastern Colorado who have experienced stress related incidents and who can benefit from debriefing, defusings, crisis intervention, and related education.

To contact AVCST, you may call the Pueblo Police Department dispatch center at (719) 553-2502, ask for a supervisor, and then ask for the Crisis Support Team coordinator to be paged. You will be contacted to set up a session to discuss debriefing or other needs. We recommend that this debriefing take place within 72 hours of the incident. You may also write the AVCST at:
