The mission of the
Department of Housing and Citizen Services is to preserve and enhance the
quality and livability of the city's housing and neighborhoods. To
maintain the value of the real estate tax base. To promote the
economic viability, and development of the city neighborhoods, while
promoting the achievement of City Council's neighborhood goals.
