  1. Access to Capital Essentials: Small Business Financing

    Seminar brought to you by the Southern Colorado Small Business Development Center This seminar is designed to help existing and new small business owners understand how to access credit and capital for their businesses. During the seminar attendees will learn what types of financing are available, what is needed to qualify for financing, basic principles many lenders use to make credit decisions, and resources available to help you through the process to make a best first impression when applying. This seminar is a must for any small business owner interested in securing debt or equity financing.

  2. QuickBooks 201: Intermediate

    May 28, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ SBDC Main Office – Conference Room

    Use the power of QuickBooks software to take control of your business accounting and make your life easier come tax season. In this hands-on workshop, learn the basic features and set-up of QuickBooks including why it’s important to track accounting information, how to create invoices, receive and record payments, enter and pay bills, reconcile bank accounts and pull financial statements through a QuickBooks case study. Bring your laptop with QuickBooks 2013 or newer software, or a laptop will be provided for you. Limited spots are available in this course and will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis with payment.
