Are you in the process or starting a business or just recently began operations? Then this training opportunity is for you! The Colorado Leading Edge Program is a 11 week certified program (meets every Wednesday for 11 weeks) that helps move your business to the next level. This comprehensive entrepreneur training and business plan development course provides business owners expert guidance in the areas of start-up requirements, management, marketing, finance, personnel, cash flow, and much more. Each participant will receive hands-on assistance in preparing a complete business plan in addition to training and guest speaker presentations. Classes will be held weekly on Wednesday evenings, beginning August 31 through November 9, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Class will be held in downtown Pueblo. Cost is $285 per business and includes all materials. (Discount provided to businesses having multiple reps attending and sharing materials.)

The Childbirth Class at A Caring Pregnancy Center prepares the expectant mother and her labor partner for their birth process. Classes are taught by a labor and delivery nurse from one of our local hospitals allowing participants to ask questions of a professional in the field.
Childbirth Classes are offered monthly/bi-monthly depending on the needs of our clients. Plan to attend your Childbirth Class in the third trimester of your pregnancy. All services at ACPC are confidential and free of charge.

Pueblo Parks and Recreation is seeking public support and comments for the Colorado Parks and Wildlife State Trails program, Large and Small Construction Maintenance Grant. The city of Pueblo is seeking this grant to fund trail improvements from El Centro del Quinto Sol Skate Park to the Plaza Verde Park. A public meeting will be held in City Park in the George L Williams Pavilion at 800 Goodnight Ave. 81005 on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 7:00pm. Trail users and the public are encouraged to attend.
