  1. YWCA'S Tribute to Women

    April 30, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Pueblo Convention Center

    The YWCA of Pueblo will be holding the 14th Annual Tribute to Women dinner and awards ceremony. The night begins with a VIP Cocktail Hour for Event Sponsors. The seated 3-course dinner begins at 6:30 along with the program. Tribute to Women recognizes and honors exceptional women in the Pueblo Community by soliciting nominations. Being nominated and winning has become a highly prestigious commendation. Nomination forms can be picked up at the YWCA or found on the website www.ywcapueblo.com. There are four categories in which to nominate: Professional Achievement, Overcoming Adversity, Community Service and Youth Leader. Nominations will be excepted thru March 31st. The awards are followed by a celebrity keynote speaker, This year, the YWCA is excited to bring comedienne, Vicki Lawrence to Pueblo.

  1. Leading Edge Strategic Planning Series

    February 3, 3:00 PM - April 21, 6:00 PM @ Pueblo West Library

    Thanks to a partnership between the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network (SBDC) and Colorado Creative Industries, creative businesses can apply for a scholarship to attend a LEADING EDGE training course. The Colorado Leading Edge Program is a twelve week program that offers entrepreneur training and business plan development technical assistance. The Southern Colorado Spring 2015 class will be held on Tuesdays from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm from February 3 – April 21, 2015 in Pueblo West. Cost to attend is $285.00 (discount available for multiple reps.) As the Network's flagship strategic planning series, the goal of this partnership is to reach small to medium Colorado for-profit and commercial entrepreneurs and businesses that are active SBDC clients to provide targeted business training, resources and funding to Colorado creative businesses. Scholarship recipients will be reimbursed for 100% of their LEADING EDGE tuition fee.

  2. Legislative Breakfast Series

    April 18, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM @ Pueblo Convention Center

    The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Parkview Medical Center to kick off the 2015 legislative session with a series of legislative breakfasts. These breakfasts are designed for community members to hear firsthand how legislation will affect their business and quality of life. Community members can also communicate their concerns, comments and questions to their Legislators. There are three remaining breakfasts, all scheduled on Saturday mornings at the Pueblo Convention Center from 8:00am-9:30am. • February 21st • March 14th • April 18th Reservations are needed to attend.   3. KOAA5 Southern Colorado Health Fair

    April 25, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Praise Assembly of God

    It's the CSU-Pueblo Nursing Department's 20th year coordinating free preventative screenings, from lung function and cardiac risk assessment, to blood pressure checks and stress management. Blood chemistry screening and other labs drawn for minimal fee. No documentation or identification required. Must be 18 or older to participate. Please visit facebook.com/2015healthfair to see lab fees, complete list of services provided, or link to preregister for lab work. Preregistration is not required but encouraged.

By writing your own plan you will gain the in-depth knowledge about your business and clarify what is involved in making your business a success. It is a great resource and tool to continue measuring and mapping out your business growth and success
