[ACTIVE] Eastside residents enjoy new improvements at Portland Park!

Thanks to the Eastside Neighborhood Association and the Community Development Block Grant Program, many residents are taking advantage of the Portland Park’s new and improved amenities. Last year, the park received new playground equipment, picnic tables, a basketball court (originally a tennis court that was resurfaced) and new concrete walkways, some of which lead into the playground area making it ADA accessible.

The public is invited to check out the park and its new amenities. The ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the City of Pueblo is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21st at 3:30 pm in the playground area of Portland Park. The park is located at 1725 E 19th Street. For more information on the park or the ribbon cutting ceremony contact the Pueblo Parks and Recreation Office at 719-553-2790.
